I would like to thank my friend, Kate, for passing this sad news on to me. If there is one thing to be said about Kate, it is that she has her finger on the pulse of the world. If there is one thing to be said about Gerry Rafferty, it is that he will best be known for his QUALITY, rather than his QUANTITY.
Best known for his hits "BAKER STREET" and "STRAIGHT DOWN THE LINE", in addition to his vocals for the band "STEELER'S WHEEL". I can never hear the song "Stuck in the Middle" without having an accompanying mental image of an ear getting cut off. Thanks, Quentin.
