Once can only assume that Steven Wilson is the busiest man in the music industry, and arguably the most creative (Wilson is involved with 6 different bands/projects), so it is no surprise that he would be releasing his second solo album in between PORCUPINE TREE releases. Wait... didn't he just release a BLACKFIELD album a few months ago? Yes... right... and it's been a few years since the last NO-MAN, which means there should hopefully be another one of those in the next 12 months or so. If I'm lucky.
Anyhow, as stated, this is the first single from the forthcoming solo album, "Grace For Drowning"..... called, "Track One". This one is going to take some time for me to get into. That's not a bad thing, and often means it could end up being something that I continually enjoy throughout my life. It does feature a very dense sound, which causes me to wonder exactly which direction Mr. Wilson is now going in his musical journeys. With him, only time will tell...
