Uncle Zeke's Top 20 o' 2014: #17- CARIBOU: "Our Love"

Caribou... the stage name to which the artist Dan Snaith, a Canadian musician, releases his ambient Electronic music... is a project that has been around since 2005, following a stint recording under the moniker, Manitoba. Under the name Manitoba, Snaith released two albums, before being legally threatened for using the name Manitoba, by another musician that had the last name Manitoba.

There isn't a lot I can say about Caribou, as I don't know much about the man behind the music. I've owned two of his albums and have enjoyed them both. There isn't really anything on either of the albums that jumps out and smacks me in the face, but I always find myself enjoying the laid back strains that are contained within both of the recordings (that I have owned).

While this may be the most boring post that you will find in my 2014 countdown, know that the album is substantially more interesting... at least in my eyes.

Let's sit back and watch some of the promotional clips associated with the album and you can decide for yourself.
